Hot Chocolate 5/10K, Saturday, Jan. 14th in Addison at Addison Circle. This event sold out last year with 1,800 participants; we have made some adjustments and the race will now be able to accommodate 2,400.
· Too Cold To Hold 5/15K, Sunday, Jan. 22nd in Dallas at White Rock Lake. One of the original events (started over 15 years ago), it has a participant list on average of 2,000 each year.
· Dash Down Greenville 5K, Saturday, March 17th in Dallas at Lovers/Greenville crossroads. One of the largest & most popular 5K events in Dallas, it brings in over 6,000 participants each year.
· Too Hot To Handle 5/15K, Sunday, July 15th in Dallas at White Rock Lake. One of the original events (started over 15 years ago), but it has a participant list on average of 2,500 each year.
· Melon Dash 5K, Saturday, August 4th in McKinney at Chestnut Square (Downtown). Recently re-branded and brought in over 900 runners in 2011. This race is located in a fast growing suburb and is expected to grow to over 1,000 in 2012.
· Santa Fe 5K, Thursday, Oct. 11th in Dallas at Lindsley Park. New in 2011, this happy-hour atmosphere drew 600 runners and will serve as the official race for the Santa Fe Trail system (part of the Rails to Trails program). 2012 participation is expected to grow to 800.
· Deck the Trails Off Road Challenge, Saturday, Dec. 8th in Coppell at Coppell Nature Park. Also new in 2011, this 3-mile event will challenge runners on a part trail, part cross-country style course.
